Embark Care is hiring a dependable and experienced caregiver for a permanent, part-time weekly schedule in Point, TX. We are seeking someone who is reliable, patient, and comfortable working independently with clients who require mobility support.

Current Case – Point, TX

This client lives alone and requires assistance with daily activities, safety monitoring, and light household tasks. The home environment is stable and appropriate for care.

Schedule:

• All Days Open: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Total: up to 36 hours/week (full-time)

• Permanent, ongoing weekly schedule

Additional Information:

• Uses oxygen as needed (COPD / shortness of breath / tires easily)

• Client is alert and oriented

• Client smokes inside the home

• Three dogs are present in the home

Pay and Employment Details

• $15/hr-16/hr

• Paid semi-monthly via direct deposit

• Additional client assignments may be offered for caregivers seeking increased hours

Responsibilities

Personal Care & Mobility Support:

• Standby assistance with ambulation (cane/wheelchair)

• Assistance with activities of daily living as needed

• Monitoring for shortness of breath and encouraging safe pacing

• Safety supervision and fall prevention

Homemaking & Routine Support:

• Light housekeeping

• Meal preparation

• Laundry and general tidying

• Assistance with errands or transportation as needed

• Companionship and routine check-ins

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year verifiable caregiving experience (required)

• Two industry-related professional references and one personal reference (required)

• Dependability and strong attendance are essential

• Must be comfortable working in a home where smoking occurs

• Must be comfortable with dogs

• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance

• Must pass a background check
