Description:

The Trainer is a key representative of the organization's values and standards, responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences that drive employee and business performance. This role requires more than facilitation, Trainers actively partner with stakeholders before, during, and after training to understand audience needs, set leaders up for success in reinforcing learning, and ensure training translates into on-the-job impact. Trainers also uphold administrative excellence, model company culture, and contribute to the continuous improvement of learning programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Training Preparation & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with Program Managers, Facilitators, and business leaders to identify audience needs and desired training outcomes.
  • Meet with stakeholders before training to align on content goals, set expectations for leader support, and gather insights about learners.
  • Prepare all training materials, rosters, technology, and logistics, ensuring a seamless experience for participants.
  • Customize delivery approach to reflect audience backgrounds, roles, and skill levels.

Training Delivery & Role Modeling
  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions (virtual, in-person, or blended) that promote participation and retention.
  • Model company values, culture, and professionalism in every interaction, serving as a visible role model to employees.
  • Enforce classroom and organizational standards to ensure a respectful, professional, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Connect training content to organizational SOPs, compliance requirements, and business objectives.

During Training - Audience Awareness & Administration
  • Monitor learner engagement and comprehension throughout sessions, adjusting delivery methods as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and assessment results.
  • Provide real-time support to learners, addressing challenges or questions on the spot.
  • Ensure smooth session flow by managing both facilitation and administrative tasks effectively.

Post-Training Engagement & Follow-Up
  • Conduct post-training debriefs with stakeholders and leaders, providing insights and recommendations for reinforcement.
  • Provide leaders with job aids, coaching tips, and follow-up resources to help them support learners on the job.
  • Complete all required documentation, reporting, and feedback forms accurately and on time.
  • Reinforce training outcomes through follow-up touchpoints (30, 60, 90 days), ensuring skills are being applied and gaps are addressed.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with Facilitators on train-the-trainer initiatives and leadership development programs.
  • Provide feedback to Instructional Designers and Curriculum Managers on content clarity, learner engagement, and audience fit.
  • Share best practices with peers and contribute to a culture of learning excellence.
  • Stay current on adult learning principles, facilitation techniques, and industry trends to continuously improve delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Education, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience delivering professional training programs.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders and learners.
  • Experience with both in-person and virtual delivery methods.

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:
