Job Summary: NEFCO, a leading distributor of construction materials, is seeking a proactive and technically skilled VMI Implementation Specialist to lead the deployment of vendor-managed inventory solutions at customer job sites and facilities. This role is responsible for the physical and digital implementation of VMI programs, including setup of inventory storage systems, installation of tracking technology (barcode, RFID, mobile apps), and onboarding of customer personnel.
The ideal candidate has a background in logistics, construction, or inventory operations, with hands-on experience in deploying technology-enabled inventory solutions.

Requirements
Qualifications: Associates or Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in VMI implementation, supply chain operations, or technology deployment preferably in the construction, industrial, or manufacturing sectors. Hands-on experience with barcode scanning, RFID systems, VMI/inventory software, and mobile apps. Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools & power tools, hardware setup, and site installations. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Ability to travel frequently to customer sites; valid driver's license required.
