Managing Consultant - Early Care and Education (Remote Eligible)

We are seeking a Managing Consultant to lead efforts supporting, maintaining, and enhancing a social platform for early care and education professionals. The role involves overseeing projects, developing solutions, and collaborating with clients to improve program quality for children and families in Head Start and other early care programs. 
Responsibilities 
Virtual Platform Management and Engagement 
- Support, maintain, and enhance a virtual social platform used by thousands of early education professionals, fostering a positive collaborative culture. 
- Design and implement strategies to enable professionals to share best practices, lessons learned, and core knowledge, while providing direct peer?to?peer support. 
- Lead growth of the community engaged on the platform. 
- Consider multiple perspectives and design creative solutions that meet client needs. 
- Analyze and aggregate quantitative and qualitative engagement data to inform strategies, innovations, and solutions. 
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective implementation of strategies and solutions. 
 
Project Management, Technical Assistance, and Advisory Services 
- Collaborate with the client to develop and implement program improvement strategies or technical assistance plans based on data and subject?matter expertise. 
- Provide initiative, direction, organization, and quality control to keep work on time and on budget. 
- Author or review technical assistance tools such as memos, standard operating procedures, data dictionaries, implementation guides, and webinar slides. 
- Engage with the client remotely or on?site to understand goals and challenges, and develop innovations that enhance the virtual social platform. 
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed. 
 
Position Requirements 
- At least two years of experience in Head Start program management and two years of experience facilitating online community development. 
- Masters degree or equivalent work experience in early childhood education, social work, psychology, public policy, sociology, education, or related field. 
- 5?7 years of experience managing complex projects or tasks. 
- Demonstrated success in developing social guidelines and culture to foster a positive online community. 
- Experience developing and implementing strategies that result in community engagement and growth. 
- Strong analytical skills to analyze, aggregate, and act on qualitative and quantitative data. 
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multiple external partners, with clear and diplomatic oral and written communication. 
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross?disciplinary teams through the project lifecycle to deliver high?quality work on time and budget. 
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus. 
 
This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $100,000 $135,000.
