Conduct and assist in religious worship and spiritual care services, including but not limited to celebration of Roman Catholic Mass, Sacraments, Blessings, Ecumenical Services for Associates, Pastoral/ Spiritual Care Associates, as well as offer training and education on Catholic Social Teaching Principles and Catholic Identity. Organize and manage spiritual care department programs and flow of work including coordination of multiple/parallel projects. Ensure operation of the department within allocated funds. Assesses the spiritual care needs of patients, families and associates. Minister to patients, families and associates by providing spiritual counseling and guidance by cooperating with the health care team in the healing process. Provide guidance and direct consultations on legal, moral and ethical issues, that involve state, federal and church law matters, including ethical and religious directives for catholic health care.
