Texas Security General Insurance Agency is seeking a Sales Territory Manager to work in our Houston, Texas market.

This can be a remote opportunity for the right candidate. Must be domiciled in the Houston, Texas area.

A Marketing Representative plays an important role in our organization's success by creating awareness about TSG PL and CL products and qualifying agents who might be a good fit for writing business through TSG. Responsibilities include planning and executing weekly visits to agents' offices to build relationships, increase product awareness, and provide training, all aimed at increasing revenues year over year.

Over the years, TSGA has expanded from offering two products to a wide range of personal lines, including homeowners, dwelling fire, and mobile home markets. TSGA is committed to providing its agents with comprehensive market access and advanced technological solutions, including its real-time internet-based program ISi (Internet Solutions for Insurance), invested in since 2004. In 2007, TSGA expanded into commercial lines, offering markets for property, liability, and inland marine insurance, and now provides a broad array of commercial products.

What You'll Do:

  • Call on existing and potential agents to provide product information, materials, and updates.
  • Organize and maintain a well-defined call cycle.
  • Keep accurate records of activities and referral profiles.
  • Collaborate with TSG's marketing team to create marketing tools such as brochures, exhibits, press releases, and advertisements.
  • Stay current with reimbursement and compliance procedures.
  • Facilitate effective communication with agents and respond to questions or concerns promptly.
  • Conduct market analysis, identify new opportunities, and update the team on market changes.
  • Assist in developing marketing tools for underwriting staff as needed.
  • Prepare and monitor marketing reports, goals, and outcomes, ensuring mutual understanding with the underwriting team.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and news.
  • Attend meetings and conventions as required.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher education.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.

License or Designation:

This position requires routine or periodic travel, which may involve driving a personal or rental vehicle. A clean Motor Vehicle Record and adequate insurance coverage are required at hire and periodically thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a business or financial discipline.
