The principal is responsible for leadership of the campus instructional program, ensuring high standards of instruction and student achievement, compliance with school policies, application of instructional programs, and effective operation of all campus activities. Other responsibilities include instructional management, school organizational improvement, student management, management of fiscal, administrative, and facilities functions, personnel management, school and community relations, and supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications: Candidates must have a Master's Degree in education administration, Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate, and be a Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser. The candidate must have a working knowledge of curriculum and instruction, the ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness, the ability to manage budget and personnel, the ability to implement policy and procedures, the ability to interpret data, and excellent organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.Salary Range: 226-day contract with competitive pay.
